What are the DRI Social Events?

Sharing:

People are invited to share food, music, conversation, ideas and queries at an informal social event supported by local funding. Local performers, speakers, therapists and advisors will be present.

Friendship:
The events are designed to encourage fruitful friendships, the exchange of cultural information and to share practical knowledge - e.g. How to become self-employed or how to deal with your children’s school.

Communication:
The event will also provide practical help and suggestions that will improve selfesteem and opportunities to practice spoken English or access local services (transport, health, library, etc).

What’s on?
Advice will be given on free or low cost things to do, places to go or worship.

Networks:
DRI work in partnership with Eastbourne Cultural Communities Network and English in the Community in Hastings and many other partners.
